Vacation

I am on vacation. I have no set plans and only a couple things that I have to do. I have to get the 5 year old to camp at 9:00 am and pick him up at 1:00 PM. So far I have removed a virus from my laptop. I went shopping for a couch ,paint, graphite, low voltage lights, and a skeleton. Yes I said a skeleton. When were up visiting the parents my son saw a skeleton in a gum ball machine. I told him that he could not have a skeleton from the machine because it would be a waste of money. On the way home he said he needs a skeleton to make his video. So the hunt was on. We looked at Walmart we found everything else he wanted but a skeleton. So after camp today we went to Toy's R Us and found a lego skeleton. Now he can create his video. Both of my kids have great imaginations. On Wed I have a doctors appt. I set this appt up more than 6 months ago.

My Dad

This is where I am to write why my dad is the greatest dad in the world or why it great being a dad.

One of the things I love about my dad is that he is not perfect. Yes that's what I said. Why is that important to me? This is important because I am not the perfect dad. If my dad was perfect what kind of pressure would that put on me. We all have faults. We do the best we can. If you can admit that your not perfect you can learn to be better. One important thing I have from my dad is unconditional love. I know that no mater what happens I am loved. That is such a wonderful gift to be given a child. You see people doing everything in there life to please their father and end up resenting him. If you know you have that love you can just live your life. So when you fail there is always a safety net to catch you. I will pass this gift on to my children. Thank you dad for giving me the freedom to fail and loving support to be the best I can be.

Happy Fathers Day.

We had a good day today. In the morning Lori went for a walk with Jane. The kids and I went to McDonald's. The kids played in the play area. We then went to the school and flew the airplane I got for fathers day. It worked pretty well. It got to hot so we went home. The kids wanted to have a celebrate Pennie day. We took Pennie to the movie cars. She was on call for work and of course got paged and missed the whole movie. We went out to eat and then to target where Pennie got a portable AC unit. The first unit was damaged and Pennie and I brought it back and got another. I set it up and I hope it helps keep her cool this summer. The kids where going to sleep downstairs but the 5 year old got sick and now their both in here with me.

Back to the doctor

Well I still got the bug. I got a new symptom cold sweat on the back of my neck. I tried to see an Ear nose and throat doctor. They told me I had to see a general doctor first. I have been waiting 6 months to get a new doctor covered by my insurance. My appointment for the new doctor is in two weeks. They got me into see an intern doctor. She had the worst bedside manner. It was like an assembly line. I wanted to tell her I looked up sweat on the back of the neck it could be a heart attack or diabetes or a sinus infection (I am a hypochondriac). She just faxed a prescription for another antibiotic. Well I hope this one works so I can blog about other stuff.

I had a rough day besides the doctor thing, at work the computer they gave me to replace my current computer because the hard drive is dying won't turn on any more. A vendor upgraded a system at work and it does not work correctly now and the programmer did not get back to me so that I can get the payroll system to talk to the upgraded system.

I was glad to get home. We went to Old Country Buffet. Lori went walking. The kids and I watch myth busters it all good except when the 5 year steps on my groin(yipes)

Breanna at Graduation

It's good to live in Green Bay

If you would have told me when I was growing up that one day I would be able to drive and get a good burger and fries. Then drive a little bit farther watch the Packers, eat my lunch and listen to the Brewers I would have said you were crazy.
Some times I take for granted that I live in Green Bay. So my dream did not come true completely I just missed the Packers. I watched a couple players running around and listened to the Brewers. I will get to a practice this year.

I went to breakfast with my daughter this morning. It was her 5th grade graduation breakfast and ceremony. Luke and Lori joined me for the ceremony. We were very proud. Boy time flies it seems like she was just in kindergarten.
